ISCB-Latin America SoIBio BioNetMX 2020 & 2021 Joint Conferences, organized by the Bioinformatics Network Mexico (BioNetMX) and the Iberoamerican Society of Bioinformatics (SoIBio) together with the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) aim to promote scientific and professional exchange in BIOINFORMATICS across Latin America.

The one in 2020 became a Virtual Symposium due to COVID-19 pandemic, BUT we hope to meet you all face-to-face in QUERÉTARO (MÉXICO) in November 2021.

See the great TALKs and POSTER PRESENTATIONs that we had in 2020:

These conferences want to provide the environment for the interchange of ideas and experience between researchers developing BIOINFORMATICS & COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY methods and tools, and researchers with interesting BIOLOGICAL & BIOMEDICAL problems that require complex data analysis and the application and use of different algorithms and analytical procedures. Moreover, researchers in any field of the LIFE SCIENCES with no or very little knowledge on informatics and computation will have the opportunity to learn about the new findings in the development of high-end tools for the analysis of their data.

The Iberoamerican Society of Bioinformatics (SoIBio) is an international scientific society, founded in Mexico in 2009 to connect several collaborative projects of various research groups from all Iberoamerica working in the emerging field of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. SoIBio aims to promote research and development in the field of bioinformatics. Therefore, individuals, national societies or groups going to work in this field will be supported both academically and professionally. It is a platform to foster interaction and collaboration with other international societies and networks that work in the same field.
